FORMACT manufactures custom plastic parts, production aids and simple fixtures for production, development and engineering.
We focus on tasks where standard parts do not fit, special geometries are required or small quantities are needed. We combine high standards of workmanship with a considered approach to the raw materials we use.
For us, what matters is more than whether a part can be made. What matters is the purpose it serves.
Plastic parts for specific tasks.
A workpiece needs a holder that fits. A custom fixture can make assembly easier. A new component needs to be integrated into an existing system.
These are the kinds of tasks FORMACT is built around.
We manufacture custom plastic parts as one-off pieces and in small production runs. These include assembly and positioning aids, workpiece holders, adapters, and format and changeover parts. Each part is made to suit its function, interfaces and agreed operating conditions.
For some projects, we add bushes, threaded inserts, fasteners or other bought-in components to the parts we manufacture. This allows us to supply simple assembled fixtures and assemblies as well as individual plastic parts.
Additive manufacturing is our tool. The specific technical task sets the direction.

With FORMACT, I want to combine these personal standards with responsible use of our raw materials. To me, plastic is not just another consumable, but a resource we should use with care.
I am drawn to the possibility of turning a digital idea into a useful, practical part. At the same time, I want to question what material is really needed and which alternatives might be suitable.

For us, responsibility starts by asking what is actually needed.
We want to use material purposefully, plan manufacturing steps with care and avoid making new parts unnecessarily wherever possible. Function, material requirements and intended service life should be considered together.
We are particularly interested in bio-based and biodegradable materials. We want to use their potential where they suit the application and the part's requirements.
To assess this, we look beyond the material name to the conditions in which the part will be used and how it will be handled at the end of its service life.
Our motivation is to bring technical solutions together with responsible use of raw materials. We do this through considered decisions for each project rather than sweeping promises.

Some projects begin with finished CAD data. Others start with a part that needs adapting or a specific description of the task.
We discuss with you what is needed and which approach is suitable. This includes the intended use, relevant dimensions and interfaces, material choice, and the scope of manufacturing and assembly.
We prepare existing data for manufacturing. We can make simple adaptations and new designs to clear specifications. For more extensive design tasks, we can arrange for specialist partners to carry out the work.
FDM and resin manufacturing are two different options within our additive manufacturing work. The process we use depends on the part and the requirements agreed with you.
