Mechanical solutions around your electronics.
From PCB holders to custom housings: FORMACT manufactures plastic parts and simple assemblies for electronics and equipment manufacturing. Connections, mounting and assembly are tailored to your components.
Made to suit your task. With CAD data or a description of your requirements.

Electronics need the right mechanical structure.
A new PCB changes the space required, a connector needs a different opening or an assembly needs secure support during component fitting. We manufacture the corresponding housings, holders and adapters. We consider everything from the internal layout to operation: assembly sequence, cable routes and accessible screw points are as much part of the task as the outer shape.
Housings, panels and front plates
Custom shells and fronts integrate PCB mounting, connector openings and controls. The split line and screw connections are adapted to the intended assembly and equipment layout.
Housings & technical componentsPCB assembly holders
A suitable holder supports the PCB at agreed points and keeps component areas clear. Loading, component fitting and removal can then be considered specifically.
Production aids & fixturesTest fixtures and test carriers
Workpiece holders position PCBs or equipment assemblies for your existing test setup. Contact points, connections and viewing areas remain accessible where needed.
Gauges & inspection toolsDIN rail adapters and sensor mounts
Adapters and brackets connect components to existing mounting points. Installation space, connection direction and cable routing determine the right mechanical interface shape.
Retrofits & adapter partsHousing samples and small equipment production runs
A fit-check model makes PCB spacing, connector access and assembly sequence tangible. The agreed data version can then form the basis for further identical parts or variants.
Prototypes & small production runsFrom existing data to the right component.
We check and edit your CAD data and design simple brackets and housings to clear specifications. Screws, threaded inserts and spacers can form part of a simple assembled unit. We involve specialist CAD and engineering partners for more extensive equipment or product design work.

- Housing split, mounting and assembly access
- Specified ESD, temperature or environmental requirements
Helping your processes work together.
Bring the inside and outside together
The electronics layout is coordinated with connections and control surfaces. Component dimensions become a clear mechanical structure.
Prepare for assembly and testing
Holders and housing parts accommodate manual tasks, tool access and contact points. The intended process steps help determine the geometry.
Support equipment variants
Changed PCBs or connectors can be incorporated into an adapted housing dataset. Each variant receives a clearly identified technical version.
Materials for housings, carriers and test aids.
Housings, PCB holders and test aids have different surface, shape and environmental requirements. ESD function and heat exposure are agreed for the specific application.

FDM and resin for mechanical equipment structures.
FDM is an option for housing shells, carriers and brackets. Resin complements it for small components with fine details and cut-outs. The process is selected to suit the geometry, assembly and application.
Which electronics need to be housed or mounted?
Send component dimensions, CAD data or a sketch of the equipment layout. Describe connections, assembly and the operating environment so we can agree on a suitable mechanical solution.
