PVA
PVA is a water-soluble support material. It supports the geometry during printing and is removed afterwards, helping produce clean internal or delicate areas.

Typical applications
Soluble supports for overhangs, cavities and complex geometries in multi-material printing, particularly with PLA.
Why PVA?
PVA creates scope for shapes that would be difficult to access with conventional supports. After printing, it can be removed with water.

Ideas for your application
Model making, product development, complex prototypes and multi-material manufacturing.
Surface and appearance
The support material's appearance is secondary; the quality of the supported part surface is what matters.
Designing your part to fit
Openings and flushing paths make removal from cavities easier. Support surfaces are designed to provide stability and remain accessible afterwards.
Finishing and post-processing
The support structure is dissolved in water. Water changes help removal; the part is then dried.
