What does the part need to withstand?

Not all loads are alike. A continuously loaded bracket needs a different property profile from a one-off fit-check model or an impact-absorbing buffer.

• Forces, movement and duration of loading
• Operating temperature and possible peaks
• Sunlight, moisture and weather exposure
• Contact with oil, cleaning agents or other substances

Which properties matter most?

Stiffness, toughness, flexibility and temperature behaviour can influence one another. Fibre filling can make a part stiffer without improving every other property. Transparency, ESD dissipation or flame retardancy must also be considered for the specific grade.

Shape and material work together

Wall thicknesses, installation position, screw connections and print orientation affect performance. We therefore assess the application using your geometry. Where there is uncertainty, a sample can help verify fit and function.
